Thundercat Coffee Roasters are the Operating Partners for the cafe; and their roastery is on-site, at Lake Geneva House of Music. Thundercat Coffee Roasters will work with the incoming manager for all training and ongoing cafe development. Our ideal candidate is someone that is: friendly; detail-oriented; organized; a problem-solver; likes to work in a tidy environment; works well solo and with a team. We're looking for the type of person that leads by asking, "How can I help?"

Experience in the coffee industry is nice; but we are happy to train the right candidate. While the technical skills are very important, we place higher value in the right personality for the position. If you have any bartending or kitchen experience, please let us know!

Requirements:

• Must have immediate availability Fridays - Sundays; with the desire to have full-time availability Tuesdays - Sundays as the cafe grows.

• Ability to stand and walk for 6 - 8 hour shifts

• Ability to lift 50 lbs

• Accurate cash handling skills

• Reliable transportation
  

Responsibilities:

• Foster an environment with excellent hospitality for guests, employees, and coworkers

• Work barista shifts as needed; typically 3-5 shifts a week

• Collaborate with Thundercat Coffee Roasters to:
  - hire and train new baristas
  - encourage barista career development
  - enforce standards and practices
  - manage inventory
  - maintain all cafe and kitchen equipment; and the facilities
  - create marketing and advertising
